Who says you can’t serve alcohol at a bridal shower?
If you’ve ever attended a bridal shower, bachelorette party or banquet that needed a little pizazz, you’ve come to the right place. While these events might not warrant a full bar, there big surprises can come in small packages. Check out these creative ways to spike small treats for a little edge! Vodka gummy bears or rummy bears. These adult candies will be the hit of the party! All you need is a bag of gummy bears or gummy worms and your favorite rum or vodka. For a big crowd, combine three pounds of gummy bears with just enough alcohol to cover the bears. Cover and let sit anywhere from three hours to two days. The longer you let the mixture set, the more of an alcohol flavor the gummies will have.
Vodka watermelon. This recipe is perfect for outdoor family or high school reunions. Buy a nice, fresh, large watermelon, and cut a hole in it deep enough to fit a funnel. For the best distribution, create several holes. Pour the vodka into a funnel so that it evenly disperses throughout the watermelon. Afterward, cut the watermelon into slices like you normally would and enjoy!
Luscious chocolate covered strawberries. You’ll need three squares of semi-sweet chocolate, two tablespoons of butter, one tablespoon of coffee liqueur and six large strawberries. Combine the chocolate and butter and microwave for until the chocolate is melted. Stir in liqueur. Dip the strawberries in the chocolate and refrigerate for at least one hour, and wah-la!
