Lent is the period between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday when Catholics and other Christian denominations fast to pay tribute to Jesus’ 40 days of fasting, which is chronicled in the book of Matthew. While some people choose one specific vice — like chocolate, soda, television or Facebook — to abstain from during Lent, many traditional Catholics do not eat meat or drink alcohol during this reflective time.
If you’ve been fasting this Lenten season, celebrate your triumph with these delicious, unique cocktail recipes that are sure to put a smile on your face!
